City expects to break ground on shortened streetcar route in late 2011

In early May, Mayor Mark Mallory and City Manager Milton Dohoney, Jr. presented a phased construction plan for the streetcar, in the wake of Governor John Kasich's recent campaign that resulted in the withdrawal of $52 million in project funding approved last year by a state panel that gave the streetcar project the highest ranking in the state.
