City Council approved a plan this week for multilingual signs downtown. The Enquirer hailed the plan, introduced by Vice Mayor Qualls nearly two years ago, in this editorial.

In February 2011, City Council adopted a series of changes to the municipal code based on the recommendations of a Historic Building Loss Task Force. Formed in 2009, the task force was charged with reviewing city policies and procedures that have resulted in the demolition of roughly half of Over-the-Rhine’s historic building stock.
