Cincinnati Initiative to Reduce Violence (CIRV)

The Cincinnati Initiative to Reduce Violence (CIRV) is an innovative approach to reducing group member related homicides in the City of Cincinnati. It is a nationally recognized partnership between the Cincinnati Police Department and the University of Cincinnati's Department of Criminal Justice that has achieved remarkable reductions in group member homicides and significant arrests of violent individuals.
