• The Tampa TECO Line has spurred $1 billion in private investment over the last eight years; a $5.3 million extension of a historic streetcar line to downtown Tampa opened in February 2011
• Seattle Streetcar – the 2.6 mile South Lake Union line opened in 2007; the fourth phase of a 1.6 million sq. ft. Amazon.com headquarters opened on the streetcar route in March 2011
